idyllic and one of the best-kept secrets in Italy, Calabria is one of the most beautiful

way of life. Bianco is in south-eastern Calabrian coast, close to the stunning Aspromonte
National Park, sites of ancient Greco-Roman ruins, perfect sandy beaches and the
clearest aquamarine waters in Italy.
The Calabrian coast is famed for its beauty and is home to some of Italy's most
stunning beaches. Lidos? are unique to Italy and you will find yourself being offered

play clubs for children and all kinds of beach games as part of the Lido experience
in Calabria.
Numerous sporting activities can be practised in this area: water sports, boating,
sailing, scuba diving, mountain climbing or bird-watching amongst others. Those
wishing to keep their feet on the ground can try trekking throughout the many trails
that cross the Calabrian Mountains. These trips can also be made by horse or mountain
bike. Here you will discover virgin landscapes suspended between the sea and mountains.
In winter, the Calabrian Mountains offer skiing, both Alpine and Nordic. For those
people who enjoy golf, the nearest golf club to the residential is the Feudo Montalto
Golf Club, a 9-hole course located 80km drive north in the village of Limbadi. Other
golf clubs are located within 2 hours drive.
The Calabrese people are fiery and warm, open and welcoming. Traditionally hospitable
and eager to share the beauty of the region they live in, you will find yourself
making friends quickly and easily. As in the rest of Italy, Calabria has many feast
days and festivals, such as the Calabrian Renaissance Festival with spectacular
entertainment includes Jousting on Horseback or the Living Chess Game. It also has
many religious and gastronomic festivals.
Calabria is also next to Sicily and trips via ferry to Messina are cheap and easy.
Sicily is an amazing island where you can visit ancient ruins, climb Mount Etna,
shop in the glamorous boutiques of Catania and indulge yourself in Sicily's famous
gelato (ice cream) bars or eat traditional Sicilian cannily desserts in cafes. Sicily
also enjoys one of the best golf courses in Italy, the Picciolo Golf Club, in the
village of Castiglione.
Travelling to a Calabria is easy and affordable. The closest airport to Bianco is
Reggio Calabria that can be reached via the Lamezia Terme Airport (situated 135km
north from Reggio Calabria) which receives direct flights from many European cities.
Ryanair flies to Lamezia Terme from Stansted. Calabria is well connected by air,
railway and roads.
